Businiess name:  Brown's Electrical Supply Co

Review content:
Brown's is a wonderful example of why small businesses fail. Here is my example. I was doing a kitchen remodel. My electrician asked me where I wanted to purchase my cabinet lights from. I dont do this daily so I took his advice and went to Browns. I had a list of items, paid well over $1000 on these stocked items lights. Remodels going as they go tend to take longer then expected. I had to wait for counter surfaces, trim pieces etc. When it came time to have the electician back to complete the job, there were several items that were not needed and some that were because jobs change. Brown's would not take back any of the shelf stocked items because it was over 30 days. A simple matter of returning an unused NIB item that is stocked. So now I am stuck with well over $100 of electrical items that have absolutely no use. Lowe's, Home Depot even SBS would NEVER have a policy like this. Brown's does have very friendly staff but friendly is not worth $100+. I can understand a special ordered return policy, but not for stock items policy like this went out in the 1980's. Do yourself a favor if your remodeling...Don't go to BROWNS ELECTRIC.
