I use to live in Alameda and would pass this shop for years. When one of my television stopped working, I decided to take it to this shop for a repair estimate. While there, I saw a selection of refurbished televisions for sale. The prices were reasonable and the offered a 90-day warranty. I purchased a 42"" plasma flat screen as well as having my old TV repaired. \r

The flat screen had a picture problem about a year later. They repaired it at no charge. That was 3.5 years ago. Both TVs are still working well. At least until I moved from Alameda and my home was burlarized. When replacing my televisions, I had no hesitations of returning to Tel VCR and purchasing another refurbished HDTV flat screen. I have referred friends and hope that you will also give them a try.
Pros: small independent shop that values their work
Cons: Limited selection on used and refurbished televisions
