First off, I want to say that I'm from NYC and that I was visiting Albany for the weekend so I'm a bit biased here. This place has a nice old world atmosphere and very good bread but that's about it. Waited 15 minutes before they even took our order and then brought us the wrong dish! Had the linguine with white clam sauce for $18.50, and, honestly, I can make it better myself; clams were rubbery, pasta was overcooked, sauce garlicky but rather bland. My wife had the chicken marsala and we could swear it tasted like chicken francese. When I go to a restaurant I want ""restaurant quality"". In other words, it has to taste like food that cannot be purchased at my local supermarket. Not here. I felt like the food was purchased down the street at the local Price Chopper. I guess this Italian food is good if you're not from NYC, but if you are then please go elsewhere... Pros: Ambience Cons: Food, Service
