Review content:
Du-par's in Studio City has the confident vibe of a place that knows you love it, and you'll keep coming back for more, no matter what. And in some ways, it deserves to feel that way. It's always busy and filled with diners who love its brand of all-American comfort food and generous portions of hearty breakfast fare. And I can't say anything bad about the place -- I had a perfectly good breakfast of eggs and bacon with pancakes there. Was it out of this world? No, but it was decent -- and in a world where you can't even count on a short-order cook understanding what the words 'over medium' means, you take what you can get. Would I go back? Sure -- but would I go out of my way to go there if I wasn't in the neighborhood, or had to work extra hard to get a parking space in that popular mini mall? No -- it was good, but not worth any extra early morning aggravation. Pros: Friendly service, decent diner food, consistent quality Cons: parking can be a bear, expect a wait on weekends
