BAD SERVICE!! BE CAUTIOUS!! SHADY COMPANY FOR SMALL JOBS!! From the first phone call they seemed fishy. Here's a long story short. I hired them to manufacture and install a chimney cap that was damaged in a storm. They would not come out to see the damage and give me a quote. (first sign of shadiness) I had to take it to them and they still would not give me a quote. I'm told it will take one week to make it and to get the parts in. I told him to make it and have it installed because I had ply-wood covering the top of my chimney from the elements. It would be covered by the insurance. They have one person in the whole company that can do sheet metal work. \r

After a week I called to find out what's going on with the quote and status. I'm told if he gives me an exact completion date to have it installed it will be a few weeks out. If they could swing by when they have time inbetween jobs that would be best. If I wanted the quote I had to go to the company and get it that night. The quote had a Minimum and Maximum amount. How am I suppose to submit this to an insurance company???? Think people! I wait another week (Now two weeks out) and call them again since I have not heard anything. The rude receptionist tells me that the worker is on vacation and will be back at the end of the week. I'm told the owner will call me to find out what's going on. He never calls. I went to the company to see the status of my cap and possibly pick up the new piece so I could install it myself and NOTHING was done!!! \r

I'm told the owner will call again but this time the worker calls me a few hours later. He says he told me it would take a week to make it and get the parts. We are already at two weeks and by the time he gets back from vacation and actually works on the part it will be a month. The worker then hangs up the phone on me. I called the receptionist and told her that I am coming to pick up my old parts and I'm going somewhere else. When I arrived everything is at the front door. She holds open the door and never says a word to me. I'm sorry....nothing. Very rude woman. She walks back in like I was dirt.\r

I then took the parts to Sims Heating and Cooling where the staff was friendly and can have the part fixed and installed within three days!!!!! Avoid Olds Heating and Cooling!!! \r
