I picked up my CPAP machine from Their offices in December 27, 2010. The young lady explained that the insurance company required that I rent the machine for 2 months. After that rental period the machine would be mine. I told her that my insurance deductible would start over in January and I would have to pay not the insurance company. I told her I wanted the full price including any charges that would be due in 2011. I did not want any more surprises.. If the price was not reasonable I did not want the machine. She left the room and came back a little while later with what she said was the total that I owed. She explained that my account would show a credit that would cover the next years charges. The price she had given me was the total that I owed. I handed her my credit card.. I make it clear one last time as I was leaving, I said if I get a bill asking for money I was not going to pay it. She said. ""I was paid in full and I would not be charge any more.."" In February the invoices started showing up.. I now have the choice of paying 120% more than I agreed to pay, call a lawyer, or just refuse to pay and let it go in my credit report..
