Don't ever use Jims discount tire and brake service. \r

Today I tried to have Jims discount tire and brake service install a set of 24"" tires on a set of wheels and them put them on my truck. After getting no help unloading the tires they had an employee help unload my wheels. He dropped the first one about 6 inches from the ground, which made me pause out of concern. I moved the second wheel myself. He then tossed the third box with a wheel in it straight to the ground. He damaged my wheel in the process. I figured the guy was having a bad day and didn't report it to his manager or the owner at the time because I was being nice and didn't know it damaged the wheel. 2 hours later they proceed to tell me that low and behold one of the wheels is not straight and true. They say it must have been damaged during shipping. I then try to explain to them how their guy just tossed the wheel in the box. The lady who works the desk was not in the garage at the time, yet she was confident and adamant that she knew what happened. She didn't let me explain anything before getting very testy with me. I then told her, she needs to let me speak. She doesn't know what happened because she was not there. Her explanation makes no sense as she was trying to tell me where the wheel hit when her employee tossed it... It was in a box and landed awkwardly. You can not see in the box to know exactly where the wheel hit. After all of this they kicked my truck out and actually refused to refund me the money I had paid upfront for them to mount the wheels on the truck. They must need the 10 dollars more than I can imagine. They then threaten to call my boss because they know where I work. These people are scum. If you don't buy your wheels from them they will attempt to damage yours, to make you purchase them through them. The lady behind the counter was nice enough to offer to throw away my original 24"" wheels that were almost brand new..... Obviously she knows they are worth a couple thousand dollars and she wouldn't be throwing them away, she would sell them.
