If I were reviewing the shop only, I would say that it is a lovely cafe and tea store with a great variety of teas. But I have to also include my tea experience itself, and since their big call (proclaimed by the banner outside) is bubble tea, that's what I'm reviewing. Few things have made me feel older recently than the bubble tea fad. We tried it, thinking we must be missing something. But sipping on lovely chai-rose tea latte, then having a tasteless, gummy piece of muck slip up the straw into my mouth ... just not in my range of good experiences. So teadrops itself was a 4, bubble tea a 2 ...
