Review content:
Philip Michael's studio is what the best of Baltimore has to offer. Philip worked me into his schedule when I couldn't stand the results from my one-week old hair coloring (from an expensive, well known salon). He listened to my concerns and WROTE DOWN what I wanted. He offered his professional opinion, which was opposite of what I just got. I wanted streaks that weren't too wide but were obvious, and I didn't want ""warm"" as the undertone - that made me looked totally washed out. I also didn't want my hair to look ""natural"". He gave me the perfect color and trim to make my hair look sexy and swing when I moved my head. I got a ton of compliments and loved it. I waited until my second appointment (New year's eve, 2010) to ensure that he was as good as I hoped. He is. He looked at my card and didn't just jump in; we talked more and he ensured that we both were on the same page. Amazingly I liked my hair even more this time. Besides being an artist, he is a wonderful person and very welcoming; you get to know him and he you. Philip is a humanist and speaks lovingly of his wife and baby. Awesome to have a great hair stylist and admiral person all rolled into one. I feel blessed to have read other comments and to have taken the leap.
