Review content:
Something compelled me to write about my experience in bartending school. Working retail for the last year or so is not cutting it financially for me because of school and work . The hours stink and the pay sucks, so I was online and was looking a different options. I have friends that bartend and they make good money and have flexible schedules. Why not look into it, I did my research and found what worked best for me and my budget.
The class was a blast and i learned more than i thought i would. I found out that bartending is just not about whiskey and coke, and opening beer. we learned old drinks and new ones also the history behind them. So I felt got what i needed to find a job. Howard suggested that I go to a hotel and start there, I took his advice and went on the interviews, It took about a week to find the place that was right for me.
Now I am working as a bartender, and makeing good money putting my skills to use. You never know what going down a different road will bring , but this one brought cash. Thank you howard and lisa for all your help.
