Review content:
As of this writing, August 14, 2009, four crimes, all occurring within the complex during the past month, have been reported to the police. These include three break-ins and a shooting. The shooting took place in the parking lot, within yards of the apartment buildings. One forced entry occurred during daylight hours. To date, Willow Brook management has done nothing to increase security. The manager's position is that residents (and only residents) are responsible for their own safety. Thus the only step the manager has taken is to post announcements of these crimes near the mailboxes, ""to allow residents to take whatever steps are needed to protect themselves."" Residents who find this situation unacceptable and intolerable are left with a single option: break their lease and pay a two month penalty. \r \r Pros: Nice landscaping Cons: Dangerous place to live
