Well this used to be my mechanic. They came highly recommended to me and to date seemed OK. Recently I had two issues with my car, one very minor and one very major. I was expecting to spend a few hundred. I was mentally prepared. Until they quoted me $1,500 dollars. So, on my way to pick up my car from Ashes, unfixed, I call the dealership. They quote me $600.00 for parts and labor over the phone. That's a $900 difference for anyone taking notes. Lastly, Ashes also misdiagnosed the minor repair and wantd to charge me $300.00 for something the dealership charged me $20.00 for. From ashes to ashes and dust to dust.
