I've been going to Lulu's for several years now to get my haircut and nails done. In the beginning it was the only decent place on the island; however, over the years the service, friendliness, and reliability has gone downhill. The staff isn't as helpful as they used to be and certainly aren't familiar with the phrase: ""The customer is always right."" I guess its the simple things I miss about customer service. \r
So after several disappointments I've started to go to La Moda Salon & Day Spa near downtown. I've been very happy with the services there and would recommend this salon to everyone.
Pros: can always get an appointment
Cons: poor quality, less than acceptable service
