Review content:
this is my second dining visit to this location and both times the service was slow and the meat came out overcooked across the board. we were more forgiving the first time since it was restaurant week but this second visit was on a sunday night (and it was my birthday) so i was really shocked at how poor the service was. the bartenders are always great to us and they have good live jazz on the weekends, but once we are seated it seems that it all goes downhill. sometimes one can look past slow service when the food comes out correctly, but when the plate is piping hot (not by design) and the ""medium rare"" veal chop is no longer opaque you know you got the short end of the stick! the manager was kind enough to discount the check but ultimately i would gladly pay full price to have the attention to detail i have experienced at other high-end steakhouses in the area. Pros: good bar area and live music Cons: can't get medium rare right!
