Review content:
What a horrible experience I had with these people. We purchased our engagement and wedding bands there several years ago, and didn't have the greatest experience then (and I think we overpaid ridiculously). But when I damaged my engagement ring, I still returned there because it was custom made there and I wanted it fixed correctly. What a horrible job he did at the repair. And how rudely I was treated when I complained about the repair job, I was told, ""Well you shut it in a car door, what did you expect?"" They said the only way it would look like it had before was if it was remade (at an additional $1800 of course). My insurance company wouldn't pay out the money without documentation from Kaplans, which they then refused to do, after first agreeing to (and countless unreturned phone calls and email). I now have to find another jeweler and pay out of my pocket for his mistakes. Horrible repair job, indescribably unprofessional, absolute nightmare of an experience that is going to cost me money.
