Needed to get a simple alignment done. They quoted for $69.99 for an alignment over the phone. I specifically made sure that they were aware that I was bringing in a jeep and will be using a coupon. Once I arrive to the store, we do the paperwork and the manager tells me that it will be $79.99 for the alignment. I tell the manager that someone from the shop previously quoted me for a price of $69.99 just an hr ago. I am fine with the price at this point because I have already arrived. As we finish the paperwork, I tell the manager that I also brought a coupon for the alignment. The manager then tells me that the price for the alignment will now be $89.99. His rational was that jeeps are more difficult to work on. Once he found out that I would be using a coupon the price magically changed. He knew that I had a jeep while doing the paperwork prior to even giving me his first quote. I instinctly knew that this guy was pulling a fast one on me. So, I immediately call another midas to request the same type of alignment. I learn that they charge $79.99 for an alignment. I also made it very clear that I had a JEEP 4x4 and will be using a coupon. Those fellas did not mention any concerns about the jeep being more difficult to work on. They quoted a price of $64.99 with my coupon. So, you be the judge! The manager at Midas on 1697 7th west is shady and dishonest. He will manipulate unsuspecting customers for the benefit of his own financial gain. Theoritically, I would have overpaided approx $25.00 if I would have settled for this con man's qoute. Please people be logical, do your homework, and dont be afraid to question things when they dont make rational sense. Just me 2 cents.
