Several months ago, I bought a Groupon for brunch or lunch and it was coming up on expiration, so taking advantage of the rainy weekend, I made a reservation for the Wild Orchid. There is parking for the restaurant inside a garage that was free which works very well in congested Annapolis. We were greeted warmly upon arrival by the hostess and promptly showed to a table for two away from groups.....gave my hubby and I time to enjoy time together talking. Our server came over within a few minutes to get our drink order and offer us complimentary mimosas or bloody mary! Fabulous touch to the beginnings of a wonderful brunch. Brunch menu is adequate...I might add 2 or 3 more things, but all i all it works. Hubby ordered a Salmon Benedict that came with a side of fruit. He ordered a side of wonderful home fries (more like a crispy, tasty, seasoned potato cube-sans oil :) ) and I had a quiche with a salad with a vinaigrette. I was a little disappointed with the quiche....a little eggy for my taste. It was advertised as a ham mozzarella quiche, but my ham must have been in someone else's slice unfortunately. The salad was heavenly though and I enjoyed every bite. Coffee was amazing....we enjoyed several cups! Love the decor and the ambiance of the restaurant...we certainly will try it again for dinner sometime in the future! :) Manager came to check on us several times during the meal....very nice lady! :)
