When I first booked an appointment with Carlos the girl on the phone said he is known to have magical hands....AND SHE WAS RIGHT! I had went to the Floyd's on Mockingbird 3 years prior to going to the one on McKinney and the guy who did my hair did NOT listen to me, I dont know if he messed up and tried to fix or just decieded I'd look better with shorter hair but when I said 1 inch he cut off 4!!! I have very long hair that I love so I was very upset to say the least! Needless to say it took me going to many other places before I tried Floyd's again 2 years later. It's in my area and very reasonably priced it's trendy and I'm a bit of a rocker so the rocker vibe in the place makes me feel at home also the staff is very nice and professional. IF you do go to Floyd's ask for Carlos I'll never go to anyone else from now on.
Pros: Walk ins, Location, Great Staff
Cons: Very Loud music...doesn't bother me but might others, and parking sometimes difficult
