Review content:
My wife, somefriends and I stopped into Ruggeri's last weekend. We are new to the wentzville area and are trying to find a nice Italian place to go. It was friday evening and the place was empty, this is usually a bad sign as most places would have over an hour wait for our party size. We actually ended up stopping into another place first but didn't want to wait an hour and twenty minutes so we thought we would give this place a try. \r

All six of us ordered something different, not one of us was happy with our food. The real kicker was the prices, I don't mind paying for good food. But when everything seems to pale in comparison to the major Italian chains and you pay almost double its very upsetting. My chicken dish, which the name has since eluded me came out like they cooked the chicken frozen. The meat was stringy and tough. It came with a small side of diced or they like to call it ""Italin potatoes"" and a Salad. Over all for 18.99 it was a major dissapointment, and as one of our friends put it. ""You could get better quality food from Fazoli's"" It would be hard to argue, and I cant stand Fazoli's, but I would of spent only 4.99 for the same meal! \r
\r
I also tried my wifes fettuccini, which was very bland and seemed like it came out of a jar, was not impressed by it and neither was she.\r
\r
Side note: do not order draft beer as each one came in a different sized glass. First one looked to be a minature pint, or a 12 ounce glass, the second looked to be about 8 ounces. I thought it might of been just the shape that threw me off since the second glass had a stem, but I kept it and then ordered a bottle and the 12oz bottle would not fit into it. \r
\r
The one thing that seemed OK was the service, they kept us well stocked on bread and were friendly enough. \r
\r
Will not be going back, and I wouldn't advise anyone else to waste their money.\r

Pros: Parking and seating
Cons: Food and pricing
