I've heard of this place a while back from friends in New York. I finally had a chance to visit Carmel so I decided to give it a try. It's quaint and welcoming was my first impression. It was a special occasion and noted it in our reservation. As soon as we were seated, we were brought two glasses of complimentary champagne. I thought it was a nice touch to acknowledge our special day. \r

The food was excellent, the wine list superb (if you love California wines, as their list consists of thousands of different California varietals) and the service was great. Our waiter was knowledgeable and guided us through the menu as well as wine selection. Be ready to spend some money though as nothing in Carmel is cheap...just like NYC, so I kinda felt at home. :) \r

You must try the Paella and the Bread Pudding. To die for! \r

Grasing's is definitely going in my favorites and a must visit when in Carmel. Thank you for making our day even more special!
Pros: Fresh Ingredients, Knowledgeable and Friendly Staff, Great Wine List, Service and Attention to Detail
Cons: Only Street Parking
