This company knows its business and did an excellent job with our custom awning. They even powder coated the metal trim to better match the fabric we chose; same with the edge trim. The entire process was quick and easy. \r

The awning, which was intended only for function (to keep the rain off of a bay window) really improves the appearance of the back of our house, beautifully frames the view out that window, and keeps some of the direct sunlight out on weekend mornings when we want to sleep in. All of these perks were unexpected benefits that we are so happy to have.\r

We finally did receive the competing quotes we'd requested, which were all within a very narrow range - about 30% less than we paid. Perhaps Made in the Shade does a superior job that is worth the extra money. We have no way of knowing.\r

In any case, the awning exceeded our expectations.
