I've been going here for pedicures for the past few years. I've been to quite a few other salons around town, even other Aveda salons and this one is my favorite. I love the historic feel, architecture and set up of the salon itself as well as all the people, who are very kind and thoughtful, even though I'm not cool or trendy and usually come dragging in in a dirty uniform, dirt under my nails and almost never remember to shave my legs. I've never once been looked down at or judged, even by the most trendy technician there. I'm always treated with dignity and respect no matter how bad I look! You don't get that everywhere, I know first hand! Now I've seen a few different nail techs, all wonderful, but then I found Emily. She's the tech for me!! She is not only a very down to earth and sweet girl but quite talented. Today I finally took the jump and decided to have her cut my hair for the first time. What the hell...have I been living under a rock? When did a simple scalp massage during the shampoo turn into the best scalp massage I've had, even during a massage? And, to top it off, like it needed to be or something, Monica gave me a wonderful, deep hand massage as Emily took her time working over my head...hell, I'll go back just for that!!! The cut was great and Emily LISTENED, understood and perfectly executed the cut, even coming up with a slight tweek that no one had ever thought of doing that made the cut even better for me. I love this girl! This is the first cut where I didn't walk out of the salon thinking ""I'll just fix this when I get home"" I love this place! Thank you Emily!! You are a great asset to your company :) As always, I'll be back!
