Businiess name:  Kesslers Diamonds
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
First off Kesslers grades their own diamonds which is a major conflict of interest. This means you do not get a GIA diamond grading report, and if you did get it graded correctly the diamond would likely be of lower quality than it was sold to you as. Second, Kesslers laser drills holes and uses sulfuric acid to get rid of certain inclusions. Laser drilled holes have to be reported on GIA diamond grading reports, which again Kesslers does not provide. When we went to Kesslers, all we wanted was to look at a few diamonds side-by-side with their respective specs. The saleswoman told us ""don't worry, I'll keep track of that for you"", which was their way of trying to keep a cloak over the whole operation. We did not want or need financing, but we were pushed to apply for it so that Kesslers could make an extra buck. We had much better experiences at Shaw's and Jared's, but for the best quality at the right price nothing beats the Chicago diamond district (or Blue Nile if you're alright with not seeing you diamond before purchasing).
