Review content:
After receiving many flyers in the mail I submitted my credit application to this dealership. I was told on the phone by the salesman that I was approved for a loan and that the deal would be no problem with my credit rating. It was a different story altogether when I got there. I was told they had picked out a car for me that fit the needs I had explained to them over the phone... That due to my credit rating and being upside down in the car that I had ( I only owed $2,800 on a car that list for $2,500) that this was the only vehicle that fit into the criteria that the bank had sent them... Well after much haggling I agreed to buy this car that was supposed to be great on gas (gets 18 mpg) and that I could trade in within a year with no problem because it would hold its value... Now that is not even the bad part. \r
After having this car for over a year and spending on average $125 week in gas I decided to trade it off. I was told by Thrifty that I was upside down and wait another year. After going to another car lot I found out what they meant. I owe $23,000 on a vehicle that I only gave $12,000 for and find out that I had not financed the $16,500 they had told me, but $28,000. I am not sure what I can do about this situation since it has been over a year since I purchased the vehicle, but I can definitely recommend that if anyone else buys a car here they read everything they are signing and ask plenty questions, because you can not trust these people....\r
