Review content:
I recently purchased a 2003 Honda Accord EX V6 for my son to drive while at college. After agreeing to a great price, My wife and I flew in from Texas to take delivery and drive the car home (1500+ miles). Once the paperwork was complete we departed for home. Within 100 miles of our trip we had a check engine light engage and returned to the dealership. Our salesman Tommy Luk immediately sent us to the sister store Landmark Honda. We were then informed the vehicle had to have a new throttle body/almost $1000.00. When you are 1500 miles away from home and have just purchased a vehicle as is NO WARRANTY, you start to get a little anxious with this kind of news. At this point I had the opportunity to meet and talk with the Manager of Audi of Alexandria Darin Lowdermilk. Darin did the right thing, by approving the repair. Several things come to mind about our experience, honesty, integrity and professionalism. If I don't communicate anything else to the buying public remember this, some people do the right thing when no one else is watching and these people are in that elite category. Thank you Darin for delivering a great buying/life experience!
