I had always thought of going back to school to get my High School Diploma but I felt like I was already to old to go to school. Then a friend of mine told me about YCLC,she told me that there were people of all ages going there to get there diplomas. So then I called the school and funny thing that the very next day was the day I had to register, I took that as a sigh that t had to do it.I lost my Grandma to cancer a few years ago she was my world as I was hers and well she would always tell me that it was never to late to go back to school so I think she had something to do with that..She got her diploma in her 50s.So I registered and started in Jan.2007.My teachers were the best, they never made me feel dumb or made me regret going back to school they helped me alot.So Thank You Mr. Guzman he wasn't my teacher very long but he tought me alot. Also I hope he is doing well. And a huge Thank you to Mr. Munoz he could be a little scary at first but he is the best teacher I have ever had.He had alot of patience with me ,I know I could be a pain and he never gave up on me, he was always there to help.So in May 2007 I got my High School Diploma It was the best feeling. My husband, children and my family were so proud of me, it was great.I know my Grandma is very proud of me also. So now I feel like a million doors have opened for me so now lets see what I do next. If there is any one out there who is thinking of going back to school for your diploma don't think about it ,do it and remember your never to old to go back to scool and one more thing if you do go back Ysleta Community Learning Center is the best place to go. *faith*
