Had a repairman (Donny) come to my home on 5/27 for a repair order sent from American Home Shield. My cooktop had 3 frozen valves. Donny looked it over and told me they need to be replaced. He figured AHS might want to just replace the cooktop. Left me a copy of the repair writeup (stating 3 valves needed to be replaced). Got a call from AHS saying my claim had been denied because the tech stated that the valves did not work due to improper maintenance. He never mentioned this to me the entire time he was here and it is not in the paperwork. \r Called Lake office (5hrs to return call) to get an explanation, was told to listen and not talk. Their tech is not required to tell me the same thing they tell AHS. I was told she didn't have to even speak to me and that I should call AHS. Totally dishonest and obviously a coordinated effort between Lake and AHS. Get yourself a legitimate repair service. Cons: Dishonest and Horrible Customer Service dept
