Recently discovered this long standing Astoria salon. Now I'll go nowhere else but Envee. There's a resason it's been on the corner of Ditmars & Steinway for over 10 years...they know what they are doing & aren't caught up in fancy image. The salon itself isn't a large space with fancy fixtures, yet it's still hip and definitely all business. Anastasia did a fantastic job with color correcting my over blonde hair & giving it a bit of a trim & texture to spruce it up. I walked out of there looking and feeling 10 pounds lighter...it's amazing what a great cut & color will do for a woman. Anastasia took one look at my hair, asked a couple of questions and made quick work of things. A process that probably would have taken at least 2 -3 hours somewhere else took her a little over an hour. She is professional, efficient & gave me that Jennifer Aniston color - that perfect natural looking blonde on brunette...The best part was she created a color that only needs a glaze in about 6 weeks so it won't cost an arm & a leg every time it needs to be touched up. Many places just keep putting on a ton of higlights so evetually you look like an overprocessed blonde - which is NEVER pretty. I've been to at least 4 other salons in the 5 years and it looks like I finally found ""the one"". I was a client of Lindsay's at Gigi but went back once since she left & they ruined what she had created (perfect cut & color). I then attempted to go back a second time & they ""lost"" my appointment. With Envee, I am thrilled with the result & at the end of the day, that's all any woman wants when she walks out of a salon. Well done Anastasia & Envee Salon!
