OK, for all who don't know""the all new CompUSA"" and the once renown Tiger Direct, are one and the same owned by Systemax. Either way, that does not fix the problem of the horrid sales associates that work there, and the money hungry company they work for. As for the company its self they offer mediocre associates due to the massive turn over rate. Why is this? Well lets start with how they run things, each sales associate is forced to sell a minimum of 25,000 in revenue a week, on top of that they have to sell about 8% in dollars of their extended warranty plans.(which for all who don't know, your sales associate receives 15-25% of that number right to their check, they don't care about your purchase, they care that less than 20% actually use the plan you purchased, and at 5% that is $2,000 in warranties) On top of that their anti-virus, CA is the next on their list . their associates don't know what they are selling, they just know they have too.(hell, go in there thinking you need a video card, they will have you walking out with a new one a warranty on it and some of their pc-tune up soft ware. if they can figure out what a video card is.) Now how do i know all of this? well just shop around there enough like i do,(they have some ok prices but really i go just for convenience, i go to micro-center more.) but if you actually listen around, you will hear the ignorant and pompous sales associates complaining how they only made 100 dollars off the moron they just worked with, and how they only are up to 700 dollars on their second day of work for the week. If that is not good enough then listen to their managers calling out what they are up to in sales on the hour, and how much more CA, and warranties they need to sell for the day. and if your sales associate does not sell enough they get fired, but a new pretentious and unlearned associate will be on their way from the gutter they will pull them out of. So if you have any questions about that PC your about to buy, or that video card go to the guy they pawn you off on, while he is there, or just bring someone you trust, and knows what they are talking about. Unless you like to waste your money.... if so ill take it. Pros: nothing Cons: everything
