Review content:
I've been at Deer Canyon for almost a year now. Its in a beautiful location with Lake Travis just across the road. They take really good care of the horses. I am impressed with the care I received when Rosie was hurt. What is important is what happens when things don't go well and with horses you never know. They are on top of things at Deer Canyon. Horses are being wormed on time, fed on schedule, given clean water etc. They also let them out of the paddocks twice a week if the owner requests it so I feel like my horse gets a change of scenery when I am busy. The owners invite other boarders to go on some really great rides. Its really beautiful in the Canyon and the rides are spectacular. Lots of rocks but the horses get used to it. If you want to keep your horse close to Lake Travis the rocks just come with the territory. Check them out. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Pros: Care, location, cleanliness Cons: Rocks
