Review content:
I'm getting married in June and went in March to get a trial updo. I had a bad impression as soon as I walked in. While I was waiting for my stylist, they asked every person checking out what products they were recommended. Each person was pushed into purchasing their expensive products. When it was my turn, my stylist started off by telling me I hadn't washed my hair in a few days. In fact, I had washed my hair about 2 hours before! She then told me it must be all the product residue on my hair, and I needed a special shampoo to get it all out (again trying to sell a product). She seemed flustered with me because I wasn't sure how I wanted my hair. After she got my hair styled, It looked really nice. She then tried to attach my hair piece for the wedding. It was a disaster. She was extremely rough with this thing that I have been keeping in a special box for a year. She also decided to but bobby pins through the tulle because she didn't know how to get it to stay on my head. Over all I liked the way it looked, but then she started taking it down. I told her to leave it in because I wanted to show my MOH. The worst part was when we checked out! The bill came out to $65 for a trial updo! (online it says they charge $45+ for everything, so they end up charging whatever they want) Also it wasn't 5 min. since I had left and my hair was falling down. It didn't even make it 30 min. How would it make it all day for my wedding? I ended up cancelling my wedding day appointment and am currently looking for a different salon. I just got a bad vibe from this place. They could have had the business of my entire wedding party, but they didn't even try to make a good impression. I was so disappointed. This salon is way too pricy, the stylists are rude, and they just don't do a good job. (ps another stylist came over during my appointment to tell me I had a baby face, and that she thought I was going to a school dance, but then she realized I was getting married. Really? I know I look young, but was it necessary for you to leave your client to come tell me that?)
