Review content:
I rolled into this place, half in the bag. They should have thrown me out, no instead they fed me to death!!!\r
Starting with the pop over....it was out of this world! I am like a pop over critic! Ever since working for a German whose pride and joy was pop overs I have been on the search to find something comparable to Wolfgangs pop overs, this place did it! and Hello apple butter!!\r
Ok, so they are bringing me drinks...I order Ceasar Salad, Side of Asparagus, and the Porterhouse for two (beer muscles) Let me tell you, the salad was fantastic, it could have fed four! And at this point, I asked for another pop over and one appeared, steaming hot and ready for butter. Ok, enough about the popovers.\r
So now the steak and asparagus shows up...ahh this is why it is pricey, the table can not fit all the food. The steak was on the bone, and pre sliced, oh and as rare as i had requested!!! So like a trooper I fought through as much of it as I could, but lost. The waiter packaged it all up and gave me the take home bag. I stumble to my room at the Ritz and an hour later I have some hunger coming on so I open the bag. What do I see??? the Waiter threw two pop overs in the bag for me! I would say service is fantastic!\r
The only con to the place was that I wasnt there when Kate Hudson was in for dinner, she would have been impressed with my ability to consume butter and out of this world hollandaise...my other passion.
