After having been disappointed one too many times, I decided to take Chaat Cafe off of my list of casual restaurants to go to. The first time I tried Chaat Cafe, it was good and I was happy to have an indian restaurant nearby to go to. But over the last year, I have not had a good meal at Chaat. I kept hoping that I just had bad luck a few times with the food, but I'll no longer go there. The ingredients are poor. The Fremont restaurant makes their food way too spicy to even enjoy. Fatty questionable chicken meat in their wraps. Naan is always chewy, not soft. They've really gone downhill!! I don't understand why people still rave about this place. On top of that, the service is bad, their utensils/plates never seem clean enough, and atmosphere is poor.
Pros: cheap, fast
Cons: poor quality food, bad service, bad atmosphere
