I was very excited to move into this apartment complex and was disappointed when I had to cancel my place on the wait list due to my fiancee getting accepted to graduate school in another state. Four months ago I called and cancelled my place on the wait list and just yesterday Sterling Place cashed checks from my original deposit from back in November. They refused to refund anything and essentially stole my money. I would strongly advise anyone not to rent an appartment from Sterling. I'm so glad that we never did move in, because if they are taking money like this now, I can only imagine how much they would have taken us for had we moved in.\r
