To label The Lime Lite a ?neighborhood bar? would do it a disservice. Serving the community for more than 40 years, The Lime Lite has come to know its ?family? exceptionally well and provides an inviting environment with fantastic service. As bartender Ryan Johnson puts it, ?When you come up to our bar, it?s about making sure [the customer] gets a good strong drink and great service, at a fair price.? Always remembering names, faces, stories, and -- just as important -- favorite drinks, Johnson makes each customer a priority from the moment they walk through the door. The Lime Lite?s dedication to quality does not stop with their customers, either. With the cocktails, the focus is on making sure that each drink is poured to perfection. With skilled bartenders including Johnson, The Lime Lite has not only been able to perfect the standard cocktails, but even offers a fantastic selection of specialty cocktails, which are always evolving. The first ?specialty? drink created for The Lime Lite by Johnson and was named ?The Hottie? by one of the owners? daughters. Brought to life years ago, this cocktail holds its own with the specialty drinks that are so popular in the bar world today. The taste is a subtle balance of fruit and citrus flavors, without ever being too sweet or too sugary. Even the most spoiled discerning socialite would agree that this drink is ?hot!? Owners George and Cathy Milutinovich have succeeded for years by being open to the creation of specialty drinks; they even feature them in the a monthly newsletter. Patrons can count on coming in for a quality glass of wine, or a scotch and soda at the end of the day, and their bartender will make it right for a fair price.
