Review content:
The Henry Rengstorff house was originally closer to Hiway 101 in Mt.View when it was built. In the early 1960's I was there one night while my friends and I drank beer in the driveway and visited with the people that were living in the house. Our friends told us of a crying baby sound they hear and that other oddities that happened. We just laughed at them..then. Later on, the house was moved down the way out by the Bay water. For some reason it only stayed borded up for a short time and later moved again to it's present location. It was then remodled and used for wedding receptions, etc. There were permanant offices located on the second floor. My son while in high school was assigned a summer job at the house~up on the second floor. \r
One day at lunch time, he asked the other personnel if it was ok to go up on the roof area to eat his lunch as others in the past had done. To get there involved climbing two short sets of ladders...and opening up the roof to get to the varanda like space. That hole had to be closed when he was done and when he went to close it, it was so dark you could barely see the office light below..he immediately opened the roof back up, then made a quick exit down as he said he felt a cold draft and felt like someone was watching him from the side inner roof area.. Later on, he was stamping papers at the desk and about 30 papers that were on the table flew off and onto the copy machine. None on the floor, straight to the other table. His pencil started rolling in one direction towards the edge of the desk, then amazingly stopped and rolled all the way back to it's original position..........................he asked the other office workers there if they ever encountered anything unusual and they just giggled.
Pros: but they are friendly
Cons: if you can't take a joke....
