We visited this restuarant on a Friday night with a party of seven. We had waited for 40 mintues and were then told by the hostess that she had made a ""mistake"" and we would need to wait another 30 minutes. We left at that point. Since the restaurant does not take reservations (even for large parties), I would expect it to at least have a moderately competent policy of getting customers a table. I find this to be another Boston restuarant serving moderately good food (I have eaten there before) geared to students who the restaurant considers not worthy of reasonable service. This problem seems endemic to far too many restaurants in Boston. Why can't restaurants take reservations guaranteed by your credit card? What is gained by requiring customers to wait an hour for a table? Cons: Horrible service.
