Review content:
I'm from Rapid City but live in Minnesota. I come back every year for Christmas and am always anxious to see how my home town has or has not changed, so whenever I need to patronize a business, I'm curious to see how the customer service will be. I had a minor superficial car repair that I knew would be an easy fix, but I needed the expertise of an auto parts store. I went to O'Reilly Auto parts first and got absolutely no help. The employee hesitantly came outside to look at my car (even though it was a gorgeous day) and told me there's no way he could help me because he couldn't tell the specific screw that I needed. I knew that it was easier than that, but left as he made it clear he was not willing to be of ANY assistance. Two days later I went to Autozone and the gentleman there not only came out to my car, he figured out what size screw I needed in about 10 seconds flat and then proceeded to get down on the ground and fix the problem on the spot. One day before Christmas no less!!! Autozone is awesome..!
