Review content:
I had a leak which was seeping through my carpet, called Pay less and they sent their field manager to diagnose the problem. First I was advised that the leak stemmed from an old pipe which was corroded and that the seepage of water was probably water that had gone through the wall and into the slab and subsequently through the carpet. First of all their field manager looks like he just graduated from plumbing school, I had to let him use my ladder since he didn't have one. He tried turning the main city water supply off with a pair of pliers, not reassuring to say the least. Next, I was out $168.00 for changing a leaky fitting which was not the problem. As I stepped into my living room the following morning, the water in the carpet was advancing into the hallway. Called them back and they sent the same guy whom they say is their top guy. Finally he told me that the problem was most likely in the the slab and that I would have to call a ""leak specialist ""?????? After having bent over and given them $235.00 total, I still have the same problem and after calling them back and speaking to their manager and advised them that their top guy couldn't diagnose a plumbing problem, he went on to say ""Sir , if you look at our ad, we are a water heating company"". Well I mentioned that their name is Paylesss water heating and P-L-U-M-B-I-N-G"" Well sir they said, unfortunately its something we are not equipped to take care of "" I said this is a plumbing problem and it does say ""plumbing on your ad"". Well, I hope this helps anyone else who may fall prey these con artists. Our economy is bad and $235.00 is food out of my family's mouth's.
Cons: Deceptive name and won't stand by and admit they are not plumbers
