RUN AWAY!!! Don't waste your hard-earned money here. I can't begin to tell you what a poor job, poor customer service, bait-n-switch operation this is. My first red flag was when I drove my 66 bug into the shop and the estimator asked what year it was (should be obvious for a shop which claims to specialize in VW's). Next red flag, estimator didn't know how to properly retract the top so it didn't pinch the fabric (as shown in the factory manual). They gave me a quote, reluctantly I signed and then they tried to charge me $80 more for shipping cost's on materials. The workmanship was absolute crap!!! Sagging interior liner. Rubber which looked like it was cut with a pocket knife. Screws exposed - which shouldn't have been. Headliner pieces cut so poorly that the rear view mirror wouldn't install - so I had to obtain the correct one elsewhere. It was like working with a shop in Tijuana. Also, they required 50% down to do the job - again, like working in Tijuana. I know it's tempting because they are cheaper. But spend the extra money elsewhere. You'll save yourself tons of headaches not having to deal with these Clowns.
