My husband and I had dinner at our favorite BBQ place in Koreatown recently and decided to try something different for dessert. We usually drive out to Al Gelato on Robertson Blvd. but this night we had some friends with us and decided to try Scoops in Koreatown. \r \r What a gem box this place is!! It was a bit crowded with LACC students on Saturday night but all four of us were able to try little scoops of the most of the amazing flavors: Brown Bread (like old-fashioned bread pudding), Jim Beam & Chocolate, Orange Jasmine, Salty White Chocolate...and so many others that were just as incredible and inventive. \r \r I had read on Citysearch that Scoops sometimes has a flavor called Bacon Caramel that we were excited to try but, alas, it wasn't there. I think half the fun of this place is the surprise of what flavors they do have from night to night. What a bargain, too - there were 4 of us and we each had 2 scoops for under $12 total. Next time you're near Koreatown make sure you save room for dessert! Pros: Beyond creative flavors Cons: Limited parking (near LACC)
