Found out the hard way that this is just a local car rental place owned by an auto mechanic who needs a lesson in professionalism and customer service. Think the price you get on the website is the price you pay? Think again. The price quoted to me from my internet reservation was doubled at the time of the reservation due to all the ""add-ons"" they had ""forgot"" to mention. I was so desperate and late for my meeting in San Diego I just paid what they asked. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra few bucks to rent from a reputable car rental company. I found out later that Enterprise is located two blocks down the street. If you think you're saving money you'll probably pay more than others with their scams. Also, the car they gave me was horrible (side panel was falling off!!!). When I went back to return the car, a girl from Germany was also being told different stories and being scammed. I told her my story and she realized the same thing was happening to her, so she left.
