I am not sure where some of these other reviewers ate or drank, but I have never had a bad experience at Mexicali and I have been going there for years. \r

The chips and salsa are wonderful. I have worked my way around the huge menu and I have never had a bad meal. The food comes out hot and fast and their prices are far below any other Mexican restaurants in the Valley including chain restaurants. It is a great place to go for a quick meal or to hang out with friends. You can be loud and you don't get noticed because the restaurant music is jumping.\r

Their drinks are so strong you start feeling tipsy after the first one. There are always plenty of interesting people to talk to at the bar and the staff is always so friendly.\r

It is just a real shame that many reviewers seem to have had a bad day and they take it out on the restaurant. Mexicali is far from overpriced and they give you so much food, I have never been anble to finish.
