I took my car in to address a Ford recall and to check a heating problem. The recall may have been done correctly, but the work performed on the heater at $250+ was useless--we sat in their lot when picking it up and ran it and there was no heat at all. Is this supposed to be fixed? They offered to check it out, and of course recommended a new repair--$400 more dollars. When we came to pick it up after this repair, the lights on the heater panel on the dash weren't working (and of course they were working before these guys got their hands on it) and the car, which ran like a top before Barile got their hands on it, was now bucking and sputtering on idle and showing a check engine light. Recommendation to fix the rough idle? $900 in repairs. You do the math. This is too many ""coincidences."" They either ""cause"" the problems or are too incompetent to get the job done correctly. Avoid this place - there are good places to go in Valparaiso.
