Review content:
I have recently started to collect manufacturers coupons in order to use them in combination with some good sales to stock up my pantry. I have had lots of success at many local stores. Friendly cashiers and helpful managers that would help me understand policies and ways to use my coupons to save lots of money.\r
\r
I made my first trip to Paylow In Merrillville recently. They were having some good sales on some items that I had coupons for.\r
\r
The first time I went I had no problem and saved good money and thought that I would definitely come back. I returned with some more coupons for another sale item and they all of a sudden said that since the coupon said, "":one per purchase"" like all coupons do, that meant one per customer, not one per item purchased. ( I had 5 boxes of brownie mix and 5 coupons for brownie mix) I told them to void my order and left.\r
\r
I called the manager so he could give me information on their coupon policy and apologize for what I thought was clearly a mistake that the cashier made. The manager made up a story about how they lose money if they take in more than 2 coupons total from all customers on an item per day, seeing that they must have thousands of customers per day, that was no where near believable. \r
\r
I told him that he lost my business. He made it clear that he did not mind losing my business. They must be doing fine without it. I won't return.
