This is my first time writing a restaurant review...but this place left such an impression on me that i just had to.\r \r I attended a rehearsal dinner here and was vastly dissapointed. they kept us waiting for almost 2 hours before dinner was served and when it was, it was mediocre at best. the flank steak was so rare it was literally bleeding onto my plate- when i returned it for a more well done piece, the waiter came out with an equally rare plate but this time with the sauce that i told them i was severely allergic to. the only thing that i can say is that the waitstaff was very obviously overworked (they had only 2 waiters for 2 large parties) so i dont blame him for this experience, but i felt that the wait alone for the food was reason enough for me to not ever patronize this restaurant again. if you have food allergies, do not go here. if you like hot food in a reasonable amount of time, do not go here. \r \r the one good thing: the decor is very cute- very shabby chic. other than that- it's not a place i would ever go again. Pros: very warm atmosphere Cons: below average food and slow service- also, not very accomodating for people w/food allergies
