It used to be a cool gym, but it's terrible now. They recently redesigned it to be more of a ladies/personal training gym with a big emphasis on cardio, but the history of the place was much more of a regular guy's weightlifting gym. A place you could go and hang out with your buddies and work out too. Now the place is a mess, there are practically no free weights, it's too crowded at peak hours, the members are miserable, and staff could not care less. On top of it all, the manager has an infuriating arrogance to him. If you want to do cardio and lift light weights/use machines in a hot, dingy, outdated, ugly environment - this is the place for you. If you are serious about lifting weights, or work out with a group of friends - look elsewhere.\r \r Platinum owners: Go back to the old model. You'll run yourselves out of business with this idea. Your niche was what was gave you whatever success you had in the past. There are plenty of much, much gyms that have spa-like facilities with this model you are going for.\r \r Pros: Lots of cardio equipment Cons: Not enough free weights - a girls gym
