Review content:
The receptionist at Glenn Heating & Air referred to Jeff for an estimate. I called, left a message and Jeff returned my call three days later. In 3 weeks of scheduling appointments, there were 2 no shows (not even a call). I asked for a third appointment. Third appointment promised Saturday at 3:00pm or I get a free system. Jeff assured me he will be at the third appointment because he doesn't intend to buy me a central air conditioning. Third day off waiting at home for Jeff and 3rd time was a no show and no call. I called Jeff. Got another excuse and he will be over in an hour. Jeff arrived and was most cordial. Jeff looked at the electrical that needed to be upgraded, and old floor furnace, and he said they will take. Jeff and I sat down at my outside table to go over the numbers. I said I'd decide on Monday and that's where he got emotional. Jeff explained this price is good now and now only, not Monday, not next month or 6 months from now. If I call back on Monday, I get the call back price that is 50% higher. Then he offered to let me decide on Monday. Jeff explained that his installation crew was slow this week and he could install everything on Tuesday. He was at a home show in Pomona and got ten closings, but eight did not qualify for credit. I reminded him I would pay cash and he dropped the price $500. Jeff got up from the table and he called me a FWOT. Twice in the back yard, once walking back to his car, he raised his voice so the neighbors could here his claims I was a FWOT, and a last time he rolled down his window as he was driving off. I asked what a FWOT was and he said it was derogatory. I looked it up. It is derogatory in common usage. I'm retired military, so I really didn't take any offense to the use of such words. Now on his side, a rock broke his new car?s windshield driving over to see me. Suppose he saw the broken glass, damaged windshield frame and dented A-pillar on his new Mercedes window again as he was yelling at me from his car. Pros: stong pas customer recommendations Cons: a hard closer that has a tantrum if you don't sign now
