Review content:
I've been reading alot of the reviews about Layla, and it makes me laugh when I hear people complaining about a $10 martini, about how they have been to big cities and that price is unbelievable. I live in the city of Detroit and martinis here are $12 or more(we're not even close to being New York, Chicago, or Miami). I think the people giving their opinions have never been anywhere but Nashville, or maybe Memphis, and have no idea what a contemporary, modern restaurant is supposed to be. I've been to Layla and Virago and they are the best thing that has ever happened to Nashville. Quit bitching Nashville, your lucky to have that much culture in your hillbilly ""city"". The food is remarkable! The service is outstanding!! The ambience at both places....remarkable!!!
