Review content:
We were the second family to move into one of the sub divisions of Flying Horse. I wished I had been present when they laid the topsoil, front and back yard. I was assured I would be please with the results. After several consultations with a landscape architecture and other landscape consultants we were told the soil at Flying Horse was not the best and 6”-8"" of top soil was needed to grow a beautiful lawn. What I found out later there was not enough topsoil laid and as result we have had to replace several areas of dead lawn. We have been fighting this for 3 years and have decided to replace the entire front and back yard with new sod. This time it will be done right.
I also had a beautiful water pond installed with gorgeous waterfalls going into the pond. As with the lawn this was completed 3 years ago. The first water pump went out approximately 9 months after it was installed. The second pump went out 4 months ago. I was told the manufacture of the pump no longer produce this model. The second pump was the exact model and it to went out. Both pumps were replaced at their convenience not mine.
Last issue, the stakes that were used to secure my trees were metal. The stakes came out of the ground approximately 1’ with jagged edges. While mowing the lawn I scraped the back of my leg, imagine the damage cause by scrapping bare skin against a jagged metal stake. To this day I am often asked what happened to my leg. The scar is there for life. I called several times to have the stakes removed and several times I was told someone would come out to remove the stake. I had to do it myself.
Nice people, crew was great but the quality of the landscaping is far from being top notch.
